Ciera A. Norris

Ms. Norris is a civil litigator who focuses her practice on high-exposure disputes involving construction defects, worksite accidents, premises liability, and general insurance defense. Early in her career, Ciera practiced as a criminal defense attorney and handled a large docket of misdemeanor cases around Texas. That fast-paced frontline experience, paired with hands-on insight from her background as a Landman, gives her a sharp edge in resolving contentious and complex multiparty disputes.

Ms. Norris graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas before earning her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. As a law student, she was selected to compete on several mock trial, negotiation, and arbitration advocacy teams. Following graduation, she returned to SMU to serve for several years as head coach of SMU’s sports law and ABA negotiation teams.
