Justin T. Woods is a civil litigator who routinely handles the defense of large losses on behalf of various companies, to include transportation and logistics corporations. Justin often coordinates the rapid response efforts of this firm in South and West Texas, regularly traveling to the scenes of significant accidents and overseeing investigations, often within hours of the occurrence. Justin has tried cases to verdict including in border venues where he has litigated most of his career and is well familiar with the unique intricacies of cases, other counsel, and Courts in these challenging locales.
Justin’s practice also includes construction defect litigation as well as premises liability, to include Dram Shop claims, on behalf of commercial enterprises.
Justin began his professional career as a claims adjuster for the largest US property and casualty insurer where he gained valuable insight and experience in evaluating serious bodily injury claims, assessing liability, and determining insurance coverage.
Justin also has experience representing real estate agents/brokers and accountants in professional responsibility litigation, and drafting formal coverage opinions (both commercial and personal lines) for insurers and policyholders.
