Donald R. Loving II

Of Counsel

As a former adjuster and general liability underwriter, Mr. Loving brings in insurance industry knowledge and experience into his defense of personal injury, property damage and insurance law practice. Mr. Loving previously managed insurance carrier staff counsel offices in San Antonio and Austin, and has worked for multiple insurance carriers litigating cases in corners of Texas over 30 years. Mr. Loving has tried to a verdict more than 50 cases. Mr. Loving has defended commercial and individual clients in trucking and transportation, premises liability, wrongful death and construction cases. Mr. Loving has also represented insurance carriers in regulatory matters and state department of insurance filings.

Adjunct Faculty, University of The Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas; Past Vice President, Bracken Christian School, Bulverde, Texas; Trustee and Deacon in church; Coached 27 youth sports teams in six sports.

Construction Defect Litigation

Represented multiple general contractors and sub-contractors in cases in North, Central, East and South Texas. Have defended residential builders in mold and defective slab cases.

Insurance Defense Litigation

Insurance litigation, including first and third-party defense, bad faith and coverage matters; medical malpractice; arson investigation; nationwide mass tort psychiatric care litigation; first-party coverage and and bad faith litigation.

Healthcare Law

Defended doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases and nationwide mass tort psychiatric care cases.

Transportation and Trucking

Represented trucking companies and individual drivers in Trucking cases in South Texas and Rio Grande Valley. Tried personal auto cases to verdict in verdicts in Bexar, Nueces, Harris, San Patricio, Jim Wells, Kerr and Travis Counties.
