Tim was born and raised in Nebraska where he went on to attend and graduate from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He moved to Houston 1998 and began teaching American and World History in the Aldine Independent School District. He later attended the University of Houston Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate in May 2003.
Since becoming a lawyer, Tim has represented numerous local, state and national businesses with a focus on construction litigation. He has successfully defended, and/or resolved, hundreds of cases over the years. Tim regularly represents the following: general and subcontractors in construction defect and accident litigation; architects and engineering professionals; fortune 500 companies defending against claims of product defects, vehicular accidents, personal injury claims, and commercial disputes.
Insurance
Represented one of the largest register tape marketing companies in the United States in claims related to trade secret practices, defamation, and tortious interference with contracts.
Professional Liability
Have represented national architect and engineering firms defending against claims of professional malpractice/design defect, as well as defending individual design professionals in front of the Texas Board of Architects and the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
Transportation and Trucking
Represented one of the largest road contractors in Texas in numerous personal injury and property damage cases.
Construction Litigation
Represented numerous general and subcontractors in multiple cases involving alleged defective construction.
