San Antonio Shareholder Justin Woods has prevailed on a Motion for Summary Judgment in Bexar County for a long-serving area commercial construction company, securing a complete dismissal of all of Plaintiff's claims against our client. Plaintiff was rear-ended by an assistant superintendent for the company and claimed to have sustained severe spinal injuries requiring surgical intervention but the Court agreed with the Motion that the Defendant driver, having left a job site to travel to a convenience store for personal snacks, was not in the course and scope of his employment with our client.
