Veronica is a litigator representing individuals, business owners, and commercial entities in all phases of litigation. Her practice consists of representing individuals and companies in a broad range of practice areas, with an emphasis in personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, and transportation litigation.
Before joining the firm, Veronica was a litigator both in private practice and with a non-profit organization that provides free legal services to low-income individuals. Veronica brought her valuable courtroom and trial experience in representing individuals and companies in personal injury, construction, real property, employment, consumer and family law matters.
While in law school, she had the opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Randy Crane, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Texas. She was also the editor in chief of the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law & Policy.
Construction Litigation
Represented a general contractor in defending against a summary removal of a mechanic’s and materialman’s lien, was able to defeat the homeowner’s motion to remove the lien.
Represented a general contractor in foreclosing on a mechanic’s and materialman’s lien and was able to negotiate a favorable settlement for the client.
