Marissa began her legal career as a paralegal, first at a boutique law firm in New York City and then at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She attended Northeastern University School of Law, where she was an Editorial Board Member and Articles Editor of Northeastern University Law Review. Marissa served as a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing course and as a member of the Community Business Clinic. Through the co-op program, she clerked at two national law firms and gained experience in a wide breadth of commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining Pappas Grubbs Price PC, Marissa had the honor of clerking for Associate Justice Paul H. Smyth at the Massachusetts Appeals Court, where she further honed her legal research and writing skills.
Marissa’s practice areas include commercial and business litigation, premises liability, landlord-tenant, and insurance defense matters.
